Scantlin of Puddle of Mudd arrested for intoxicated driving

American rock band Puddle of Mudd lead vocalist Wes Scantlin was recently apprehended in Minnesota after he was pulled over on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol, an article from CBS News reported on July 28.

Reports revealed that, at around 4:00 a.m. on July 26, the 43-year-old rock star was seen driving at a high rate of speed in Bird Island. Police had to chase Scantlin after he was observed trying to get away. After pulling over Scantlin’s vehicle, authorities smelled alcohol on the vocalist and his speech was slurred. Scantlin reportedly had a blood alcohol level of 0.31 percent after he was taken into custody. Aside from two DUI counts, Scantlin was also charged with fleeing police while in a vehicle.
