Woman charged in deadly Beloit accident

A charge of homicide by drunken driving was filed against a woman who was involved in an accident in Beloit, Wisconsin, a June 15 article by the Journal Sentinel stated.

A criminal complaint showed that Mackenzi Sue Adams, 20, was under the influence on June 13 when the four-vehicle accident occurred. Driver Justin Border and another driver both alighted from their vehicles to give aid to Adams, whose vehicle was stalled on the median lane of mile marker 186. As the three vehicles were parked on or by the median, an oncoming semitrailer truck crashed into all three vehicles. Border’s wife Jessica, who was inside the vehicle at the time of the accident, was killed, while their two children sustained injuries. An officer noted signs of intoxication from Adams and took her into custody. Adams, who has a bail bond of $2,000, was barred from consuming alcohol and operating a vehicle.

The Green Bay lawyers of Habush Habush & Rottier extend their sincere condolences to those affected by this tragic incident.
