Intoxicated driver charged after fatal pedestrian accident

The vehicle driver allegedly responsible for the fatal pedestrian accident in Racine was recently charged, an article of Eyewitness News stated on December 26.

Reports said 31-year-old Bradley Hayek is facing numerous charges, including driving under the influence resulting in homicide. Hayek reportedly hit pedestrian Robert Castaneda, 45, on December 25. Authorities apprehended Hayek after he left the crash scene. Castaneda succumbed to death upon admission to the emergency room. If Hayek is discharged with bail set by a court commissioner, he must wear a monitoring device and abstain from drinking alcohol.

The Green Bay car accident lawyers of Habush Habush & Rottier understand that the results of pedestrian accidents can be devastating, especially when wrongful death has occurred. Unfortunately, in addition to these great emotional challenges, a financial burden often accumulates. It is possible to pursue financial restitution, however, to cover medical costs, funerary expenses, and any other damages. Find out how our legal team may work on your behalf today by calling (920) 437-0900.
