Woman injured in Buffalo County rollover accident

An Elk Mound resident was seriously injured after a solo-vehicle, rollover accident in Buffalo County on August 12, the Winona Daily News reported.

Statements provided by the County Sheriff Department indicates that deputies responded to a rollover crash in the town of Naples on Tuesday. Responding crews extracted 25-year-old Megan Amorose from her overturned vehicle where she was trapped. In a statement, Amorose said that she swerved to avoid a collision with a vehicle coming into her lane. When she overcorrected, the vehicle reportedly rolled, coming to rest upside-down in a ditch. Amorose was taken to a hospital by helicopter for serious injuries.
