Semi truck caused fatal accident

On July 8, the Green Bay Press Gazette reported that a pedestrian suffered from fatal injuries after being struck by a commercial truck on Wisconsin 29 near Brown County.

Captain Randy Schultz commented on the accident saying that around 8 a.m. on July 7th a 59-year-old man was struck by semi after exiting his vehicle. The victim, whose name was withheld, was died from his injuries.

The truck driver reportedly attempted to prevent the collision by attempting to stop. Authorities temporarily closed the highway  for about three hours while investigators cleaned and investigated the crash site.
