2 injured in Columbia County drunk driving crash

At least two persons were injured in a two-vehicle accident in Columbia County, the Poynette Press reported on March 30.

Police said the accident occurred at around 12:00 a.m. on March 30 in the southbound lane of Interstate 39 when the vehicle driven by Scott Albrecht and the vehicle of Gabriella Skaife crashed. Skaife, 33, sustained serious injuries after her vehicle reportedly flipped over and went into the opposite lane. Albrecht, 34, was also injured in the incident but was later arrested and booked in Columbia County Jail after authorities discovered that he was driving while intoxicated.
