Lake Winnebago crash leads to OWI arrest

On Sunday, February 9 a Menasha man was arrested for his third OWI after crashing SUV near Lake Winnebago.

According to police reports, the accident occurred around 3 p.m. near Paynes Point Road. The vehicle of the 56-year-old man rolled several times after striking a snowbank.

The driver didn’t appear to be injured from the accident. Though he refused medical treatment, he was subject to a field sobriety test. Police arrested him for his third OWI offense.
