Sports commentator Steve “The Homer” True sustained a severe head injury following a car crash before 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 13 at the intersection of Hampton and Fond du Lac avenues.

Milwaukee police said True’s Toyota Corolla had the green light when he was hit by a Cadillac heading southeast. The 44-year-old driver of the Cadillac was arrested after being accused of driving while intoxicated.
