Raodway defect launches car in air

A defective spot of road on Highway 29 near Eau Claire caused a car to be launched into the air as it drove over it.

The road is believed to have buckled under the heat, forming a large bump. Many cars were damaged despite slowing down as they traversed it. One driver, however, did not react to the roadway defect in time and hit it at full speed.

The car flew through the air, and its driver lost control of the vehicle when it landed. It ended up going through the median and the other side of the highway’s two lanes before coming to rest on the side of the road.

Thankfully, no one was hurt. Nevertheless, uneven pavement holds numerous dangers. If you have been hurt in a car accident caused by a roadway defect, contact the car accident lawyers of Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. ®, at 800-242-2874.
