Man charged with felony drunk driving

A 39-year-old Franklin man has been arrested on felony drunk driving charges after Greendale authorities arrested him on his fourth DWI charge in less than five years. The man was pulled over Thursday night in Milwaukee County.

The arresting officer claims that the man was driving erratically to try and lose the officer. After pulling him over, the officer noticed that he had bloodshot eyes and smelled of alcohol. The man failed the subsequent field sobriety tests and registered a blood alcohol content of 0.16.

According to the Greendale Patch, the driver has been charged with driving while intoxicated, driving with a suspended license, and driving with a prohibited alcohol content.
