Couple seriously injured in motorcycle accident

Two people were seriously injured Monday night after a driver lost control of his motorcycle, drove off the roadway, and caused the vehicle to flip. The accident occurred in the westbound lanes of Interstate 90 near Tomah.

According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, a 50 year-old husband and his 45 year-old wife sustained serious but not life-threatening injuries after they were thrown from the motorcycle. The Rosemount, Minnesota couple were transported to Tomah Memorial Hospital and are expected to recover.

Investigators are not sure at this time what caused the accident as road conditions were considered normal at the time of the accident.
