A 41-year-old man from Missouri suffered an injury on Wednesday during a motorcycle accident in Michigan.

The accident occurred at 11:25 a.m. on Michigan’s Musgrove Highway. According to MSP officials, a Ford Ranger was parked on the side of the highway when the 41-year-old man and two friends passed by on their motorcycles. Just as the man was about to pass the vehicle, the driver of the vehicle pulled onto the road and clipped the back of the man’s motorcycle.

The man was thrown from the motorcycle and suffered a head injury. He was airlifted to Spectrum Hospital to be examined and treated. Officials say he was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
