Pedestrian killed in Kentucky accident

A 62-year-old man was killed in a pedestrian accident in Kentucky on Saturday evening.

The accident occurred on U.S. 421. The man was walking down the highway when a 1994 Jeep, driven by a 52-year-old man, crashed into him. He died almost instantly from the impact of being hit by the car.

The driver of the Jeep continued driving for another mile before crashing into a guardrail. He was arrested on charges of intoxication manslaughter and driving without insurance. He is facing several years in prison for the accident.
