Wisconsin police chase ends in vehicle collision

A man was arrested Thursday morning after he lead police on a chase that ended in a car collision.  Law enforcement said that they understood that the man driving the vehicle either had a gun or a sword because he had been in an accident involving a fencing foil previously.  The man has been charged with traffic violations and with fleeing from an officer, but authorities are trying to rack up more charges for the suspect.

Allegedly, the driver was speeding on Green Bay Road into Racine County while evading the police.  Authorities attempted to use stop tricks on the road, but the driver swerved to avoid them and collided with another vehicle traveling southbound on the highway.  Neither driver was injured but both were taken to the hospital to be examined.
