Truck accident causes death of elderly Minnesota woman

A truck accident occurred on Monday of last week in Onalaska that caused the death of an 89-year-old woman from Minnesota.

The woman was driving her vehicle eastbound on I-90 at around 9:30 a.m., when a semi-truck rear-ended her. The woman was taken to the hospital where she was in critical condition. She died later because of her injuries.

The 44-year-old man driving the truck was not injured. An investigation into the cause of the accident is still being conducted.

Semi-Truck Accident Causes Severe Injuries

An early morning accident in Wisconsin left two drivers of semi-trucks severely injured. The accident occured at 1:15 a.m. when a semi-truck heading down Interstate highway 94 crashed into the rear-end of another semi that was parked on the side of the highway.

The twenty-three year-old driver of one of the trucks was severely injured and rushed to the hospital with injuries that were life-threatening. The driver of the other semi, a fifty-eight year old man, suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment as well.

Truck driver killed in Green Bay accident

A truck driver was killed in a Green Bay accident Thursday. According to police reports, the accident occurred while the Georgia driver was unloading a tractor-trailer.

While unloading the truck, the driver’s wife moved the truck and accidentally hit her husband. According to the medical reports, the man died from injuries to his chest and neck.

Teen Dies in Single-Vehicle Rollover

A teen is dead following a tragic single-vehicle rollover accident which occurred near Dear Lake on US Highway 8 last Friday.

The girl who died in the accident was a passenger in a Chevrolet Blazer driven by a 17-year-old. They were approaching an intersection when the driver swerved to avoid another vehicle waiting to make a left-hand turn. The Blazer hit a ditch and flipped, ejecting the 16-year-old girl, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and another passenger were taken to a local hospital.

Police Investigate Fatal Three-Car Accident Near Green Bay

Police are searching for witnesses to a deadly three-vehicle accident which caused the death of a 78-year-old man.  According to police, the accident occurred Monday Night on US 41, north of Glory Road.

According to police, the man was struck from behind by a semi truck driven by a 50-year-old Iowa man. The semi pushed the first car into the car in front of it, causing a three-vehicle pile-up. One man died in the incident, while the other two were not injured. Police are looking for witnesses to shed further light on the cause of the accident.
