A Nebraska couple is suing York County after their motorcycle hit two potholes, causing their motorcycle to become airborne and rollover. They claim the county was aware of the danger but did not provide any warning signs for motorists.

The family is suing the county for $500,000 for medical expenses, economic damage, as well as physical and emotional damages. However, the York County Commissioners say the accident occurred on a state highway; therefore, the family must file the claim against the Nebraska Department of Roads.
