The death toll of a major highway pile up has been increased to 11 after investigators found another body in a burned pickup truck.

Extremely low visibility due to smoke from brush fires and dense fog are believed to be major factors in the collisions. A dozen cars, six tractor-trailers, and a motor home collided on Interstate 75 in Gainesville, Florida early Sunday morning. At least 18 people were taken to the hospital.

So far investigators, with help from anthropologists from the University of Florida, have identified eight of the deceased. The crash caused cars to burst into flames and several vehicles were trapped under the bellies of the tractor-trailers.
